Manages and leads the Territory Sales Managers within assigned region. Reports to the Sales Director. Works with the Sales Director in the planning and implementation of sales, training, marketing and product development programs specific to assigned region. 

Primary Function

Leads, recruits, trains and motivates Territory Sales Managers within assigned region to reach company sales goals.

75% of work schedule is travel away from home office

Essential Functions:

Manages and leads Territory Sales ManagersResponsible for the training & development of new and existing field salespersons within the assigned region both in person and virtuallyPlan, develop, and implement strategies for training and development. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of training and development.Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.  Must be able to effectively communicate complex subject matters in live group and individual training environments.The amount of travel required is seventy-five percent, equal to three weeks out of every monthPerform quarterly reviews with each Territory Sales Manager on their essential functions and performance metricsMonitor, measure, and report on sales training, development and achievements within agreed upon formats and timelines.Develops relationships throughout the customer network, and with other departments, to achieve goals.Maintain awareness and knowledge of innovative training and development methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization.Ensure activities meet and integrate with organizational requirementsIdentifies new market opportunities and develops the long- and short-term strategic plans with the inside RSM, necessary to maximize profits and market share.  Manages long-term relationships with customers and strategic business partners.Maintains positive working relationships with Regional Sales and Operations Directors through regular communications and sharing of customer/ market information.Coordinates strategic planning and execution activities with Sales and Operations Teams and all other departments as required to achieve objectivesProvides senior management with essential information.  Prepares and submits accurate and timely sales reportsRecommends new products and markets, provides supporting sales, marketing and financial rationale.Manages activities, communicates performance results and coordinates with WORLDPAC teammates through all appropriate means, including but not limited to the Salesforce CRM reporting tool, Office 365 Suite, phone and e-mail

Required Skills

Must be willing to travel. Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate long-term customer relationships.  Excellent negotiation skills.Must have a minimum of five years of field call experienceAble to conceptualize and implement sales plans and programs.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Regularly will have to exercise independent judgment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite of products.Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.  Ability to work under deadline pressure and to prioritize work duties.Ability to effectively communicate in the language(s) prevalent in the geographic market(s) assigned for developmentAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, procedures and work instructions. Ability to write clear and grammatically correct reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with teammates, vendors and customers of the organization.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to relocate in the futureMust reside within the geographical region coveredBilingual in Spanish preferred but not required

Compensation Range

128,300.00 USD PER YEAR - 144,350.00 USD PER YEAR
