Regional Sales Manager (Texas Region)

Cleaver Brooks Sales and Service is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Texas Region) to join our team in Dallas or Houston, TX. The Regional Sales Manager will develop the sales team into creating customer relationships within assigned geographic territory and/or accounts leading to booked revenue for primarily service but also equipment, aftermarket parts, rentals, etc. Research technical drawings/diagrams/archives to ensure appropriate solutions are offered. Monitor order status to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain files and records pertinent to customers.

Job Location: Dallas, TX or Houston, TX

Essential functions:

Support department sales budget with focus on assigned representatives to achieve Target. Work with Management to develop local strategy. Perform required research to support customer Request for Quote and general information solicitation. Use existing technical drawings/diagrams/personnel/ resources to ensure that solutions offered conform to equipment/use specifications. Perform quote follow up to spur customer decisions. Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company is required. Work directly with representatives and staff to resolve internal and external problems quickly. Work with management to develop feedback related to target and sales program performance / enhancements. Solicit input for new products as well as collecting feedback for increasing sales related to existing offerings. Promote growth initiatives Moderate local travel, generally by vehicle Position requires the constant and consistent exercise of intellect, judgment, and ability commensurate with supervisor positions in similar industries or situations. Position requires regular exercise of problem solving and policy or procedure interpretation skills. Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company is required. Support peers and management with internal and external projects. Adhere to company policies. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

Education:

 A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a technical discipline is required

Experience: 

+10  years with  experience managing a diverse technical sales team. Equipment and service sales experience in a similar industrial/technical position is required. 

Physical Skill and Effort: Work requires computer proficiency, moderate typing speed and a high data input accuracy level. Work involves fairly light and simple types of physical exertion.

Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions or materials
