Job DescriptionServe as the primary point of contact for new machine enquiries in the UK regionManage technical-commercial aspects for Horizontal, Secondary and Vertical portfolio within the food businessProspect geographic zone, find new leads, and follow up on Industry CampaignsPresent new enquiries to the back office, ensuring all necessary data is availableNegotiate and close deals, maintaining responsibility until equipment is transferred to local Services teamIdentify needs for new equipment among existing and potential customersMonitor market trends and competitors within the defined sales areaParticipate in trade fairs and customer visits, submitting timely reportsCollaborate closely with internal departments locally and abroadManage customers, leads, and opportunities within the Syntegon CRM toolHandle contract negotiations with support from manager and back officesEnsure sales margins meet targets and follow up on technical documents and paymentsMaintain close collaboration with Services colleagues for long-term customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Your competencies and qualifications:

Proven sales experience in capital sales of packaging equipment, preferably in the dry food industryKnowledge of Horizontal, Secondary and Vertical Packaging, with experience in value selling techniquesExcellent customer management and interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilitiesTeam player with an open-book mentalityRelevant engineering background (degree not mandatory)Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suiteWillingness to travel domestically and within Europe up to 60% of the time
