Job Description:
The Regional Sales Support Representative supports the sales team by providing administrative and sales support across the West Coast region.
Essential Duties:
Provides sales bid generation supportManages and maintains sales funnel through forecastingFacilitates communication and sponsors department meetingsCommunicates with vendors and customers and arranges for third party inspections.Track sales KPIs using software tools to improve the accuracy of the sales funnel and forecast.Tracks performance against metrics and performs sales incentive calculationsAssists outside reps at trade shows and school eventsCovers for open territories as neededJob Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required1+ years of customer service, B2B, B2C sales experience or equivalent preferredAbility to travel up to 75%, ground, and air, including weekend travel requiredProficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.Self-driven and strong interpersonal skills required.Good business acumen including business management fundamentals required.Proven success in quickly learning computer systems required.Good data entry accuracy and strong attention to detail required.Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required.Proven success in prioritizing assigned work required.Ability to gather, understand, and interpret information required.Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills required.Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness required.
