Xylem is looking for a Regional Service Technician to report to our Garner, NC location and support the Southeast Region (VA, NC, SC) with customer orders, set-ups, teardowns, fusion work, mechanical work, and other duties as assigned. **What your day will look like as a Regional Service Technician** The Regional Service Technician will be responsible for supporting the delivery, installation and operation of our pumps on Xylem Service Center sites and/or customer job sites. Equipment specific training will be provided, but applicants with previous professional driving experience and a mechanical background are especially encouraged to apply. This position has general day shift hours and overtime opportunities with overnights and afternoons/weekends. If you believe that we would be the right fit for you, please apply today. **Position Requirements for Regional Service Technicians** + Clean driving record + HS diploma or equivalent + CDL, Class A or B + Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.) + Ability to obtain DOT Medical card + Experience with flatbed trailers and proper load securement techniques (chaining, strapping, etc.) + One to two years of technical work experience. + One to two years Fusion experience preferred. + One to two years of construction industry experience preferred. + Ability to drive overnight. + Ability to cross-borders and obtain valid passport. + Ability to drive difficult routes. + Ability to understand weight requirements / weight distribution. + Ability to work in varied work conditions. Including but not inclusive to weather, job site, indoors, loud noises, and construction and power facilities. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 90% travel depending on division & location (mix of local and longer distance with overnight stays) **The estimated salary range for this position is $23/Hr. to $30/Hr.
