Regional Social Media Program Manager
What's the role?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Program Manager to join our digital team in the North Asia (A1) region. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic social media programs, with a focus on influencer partnerships and employee enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media landscapes in North Asia markets (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea) and the ability to collaborate effectively with global and local teams.

What does the role involve?

Social Media Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement social media strategies that align with Hilti's global objectives and local market needs in the A1 region. Manage and optimize social media presence across various platforms relevant to North Asia markets. Monitor social media trends and adopt strategies accordingly to maintain Hilti's competitive edge in the digital space.
Influencer Program Management:
Design, implement, and manage influencer marketing programs tailored to the A1 region. Identify, vet, and cultivate relationships with key influencers in the construction and industrial sectors. Develop creative campaign concepts that align with Hilti's brand values and marketing objectives. Track and report on the performance of influencer campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Employee Enablement Program (EEP): Develop and roll out employee advocacy programs to amplify Hilti's social media presence through employee networks. Create training materials and conduct workshops to educate employees on social media best practices and company guidelines. Implement tools and processes to facilitate employee participation in social media activities. Monitor and measure the impact of employee advocacy efforts on brand reach and engagement. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the global digital team to ensure alignment with worldwide social media initiatives and best practices. Collaborate with Market Organization (MO) teams in different countries to tailor programs to local needs and cultural nuances. Coordinate with various departments (e.g. Marketing, HR, Product Management) to source content and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Performance Analysis and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics for social media programs. Regularly analyze program performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Prepare and present reports on social media initiatives to senior management.
Budget Management: Manage allocated budgets for social media programs, ensuring efficient use of resources. Provide input on budget planning and allocation for future initiatives.

What you need is:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a program management role. Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media and influencer marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices, particularly those relevant to North Asia markets. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with experience in using social media analytics tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Fluency in English and at least one North Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese) is required. Experience in employee advocacy programs is a plus. Familiarity with the construction industry or B2B marketing is an advantage.
