Regional Supplychain Operations Leader - Engineering

Responsibilities: Develop and execute regional supply chain strategies in alignment with business unit and global function priorities. Participate in long-term strategic planning (STRAP) and annual budgeting with regional and global leadership teams. Align sourcing, manufacturing/remanufacturing, and materials strategies to support regional growth. Drive monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) cycles to ensure coordinated execution and material fulfillment. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support sales, service, and reliability, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to align with customer needs and business targets. Lead parts/components manufacturing, remanufacturing, and repairs localization efforts to strengthen the local supply chain base. Oversee the qualification process for new parts, repairs, and remanufacturing, ensuring technical and quality compliance. Support customer engagements and establish strong relationships to optimize inbound and outbound materials management. Ensure strong regional oversight of customs and logistics processes in collaboration with global functions for seamless operations and compliance. Provide leadership on localization initiatives, including Local Content, National Industrial Participation Programme (NIPP), and Enterprise and Supplier Development. Understand competitive strategies and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition to customers and stakeholders. Develop the regional supply chain team, identifying talent and fostering professional growth. Promote a strong culture of compliance within the organization and with external stakeholders. Qualifications / Requirements: 15+ years of experience in heavy/industrial manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in repair and remanufacturing of highly engineered industrial products. Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, or Program Management from an accredited institution. 10+ years of leadership experience, including building and managing teams in a matrix environment. Proven track record in supplier and customer negotiations and stakeholder management. Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints certification is an advantage.
