The Regional Technical Specialist will be responsible for leading the overall revenue and growth in specific areas of business by branch or segment improve profitability and revenue growth. The Regional Sales Product Specialist will work together with stakeholders to understand market trends, competition and develop new market growth strategies as it relates to projects in specialty sectors of the business. Education and/or Experience: + Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in mechanical, civil engineering, environmental science, or Hydrology. + Must have 3 (3) to 5 (5) years of experience in industrial sales. + Five (5) or more years of project management experience. + Very strong oral and written communication skills. + Strong interpersonal, customer service and negotiating skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her manager. + Achieve annual sales targets within the region. + Establishing new and maintaining the strong and professional customer client relations; project management of major projects. + Evaluate and recommend dewatering applications to suit the customer’s needs. + Create successful sales and marketing approaches to address needs of each branch within the region. + Work with Inside Sales Support to generate sales reports, proposals, and quotations. + Evenings, weekends (on-call) and frequent travel within the region is a component of this position. + Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; trade shows, professional publications and maintain personal networks. + Make professional presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain signed contracts for dewatering projects. + Manage both short- and long-term projects. + Working with RVP's, RSM's, Branch Managers and sales team through the sales process of any dewatering project. This may include ride along with sales reps, job walks with customers and any other task associated with the dewatering projects. + Achieve assigned sales quota, revenue, and gross margin objectives. + Increase market share within end-user customers in assigned territory. + Actively target, develop, maintain, and close funnel of sales opportunities and document all sales activity through customer relationship management system. + Acts in accordance with Rain for Rent’s Safety culture. Travel: This position requires significant overnight travel (up to 50%) by land and/or air.
