Position Overview:
Reporting to the Area Vice President of Sales, the Regional VP, Sales (Major Market), is responsible for managing, coaching, teaching and training a team of Major market focused sales directors. The ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to deal, a proven track record in employee development, and an extensive background in B2B sales.

Collaborate and establish and execute a sales goal for specified regionManaging an 7-8 sales director team in order to maximize sales revenueReview regional expenses and stay within budgetCounsel with each sales director on their monthly sales objectives and weekly activity goals as well as any action plans if needed.Report weekly the team’s sales results for the month and for the quarter.Conduct one on one weekly with each sales director with agendaRegularly review team performance to ensure sales and quota responsibilities are on target at the Director and Account Executive levelRecruiting, hiring and training sales director team, staff to required headcount levelsConstructively handle (or supervise the handling of) all customer complaints related and have an established chain of command for all escalations.Contribute regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, and quality.RequirementsRequirements:
3-5 years of experience in sales management.2-3 years of experience in all aspects of the Major Market Account Payroll space.Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales forceProven experience with major account payroll, HR, and time and attendance solutions as well as large, complex organizations.Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skillsStrong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.Willingness to travel and work in a virtual environment.Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teamsCurrent RVP written endorsementMinimum of 12 months in current roleTrack record of quota attainmentPreferred Qualifications

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $134,610 - $249,990 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
