Find out today what a career with Pyramid Global Hospitality can mean for you! Overview The Regional VP of Finance will be the key financial leadership position within the regional team. The position will support the operations team and assist the property teams with all finance & accounting related matters. This will include: Providing analytical information to operations team; guidance on opportunities to improve the financial performance of the properties; Assisting the property Director of Finance and Central Accounting Office (CAO) in forecast, budgeting, managing cash, labor management, reviewing monthly financial statements, reviewing the control environment, training, analytical requests and interacting with ownership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Included, but not limited to, are the following: other duties may be assigned. Support operations financial analysis needs and provide guidance on opportunities to improve the financial performance of the properties. Work with ownership as the lead for accounting issues with the properties. Monitor the monthly closing process and assure that accurate financials statements are presented accurately on a timely basis. Review the system of internal controls on property. Support preparation of the property cash flow forecast and assist with the presentation to ownership. Ensure property Directors of Finance leaders attract, hire, train, motivate, mentor, performance manage and retain top talent in alignment with company practice and in support of the desired company culture and service delivery expectations. Assist the property in resolving issues raised by the CAO. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Four-year college degree, with a major in accounting/finance. At least 10 years of Accounting or finance experience, preferably within hotel accounting vertical. Experience operating in a centralized accounting environment preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None LANGUAGE SKILLS Strong written and verbal communication skills REASONING / ORGANIZATION Possesses strong organizational and project management skills, is multi-task oriented, and has a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering on goals Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $165,000.00/Yr. - $200,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
