Regional VP/Divisional Manager

Job Summary

This highly visible leadership position performs a dual role at DuraServ. As a Regional Vice President, the role oversees a geographic region of DuraServ locations in the area of sales performance and service operations with profit and loss responsibility. The scope includes leading, managing, and coaching other mid-level managers with teams. As a Division Manager, you will be responsible for the profit and loss (P&L) book of business and will manage a dedicated sales and service team. In this role, partnering with established and new customers is essential.

In this role, you will:

Lead a geographic region with direct and indirect reports, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure operational excellence and achievement of company goals, particularly in the area of sales growth and positive financial performance.Manage the Sales and Operations functions within the region, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and driving revenue growth and profitability.Responsible for the budget and (P&L) of the region, making informed financial decisions and implementing cost-saving measures where necessary.Perform a dual role as a Division Manager, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to build and lead a successful sales team and support best practices led by the Operations Manager.Recruit, coach, and retain a successful sales staff, becoming known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top salespeople want to join.Execute sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives, ensuring continuous improvement and development within the team.Assist in managing customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction, fostering strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities.Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, driving the business to meet and exceed annual budget targets.Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions, using insights to inform sales strategies and improve customer engagement.Assist with managing key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to drive business growth.

Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.Sound financial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial performance.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Knowledge of the industrial equipment and services industry is preferred.

Bonus if you have:

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years of sales experience.   Experience in the construction, or industrial equipment and services industry is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities 

This position manages and directs the following positions:  Vice President of Sales, Sales Representative, Estimators, and Director of Operations.Indirectly responsible for administrative staff and technicians.


Work Environment and Physical Demands

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. In office environment and customer locations.In the field, working with teams and interfacing with customers.

Travel 

This job requires business travel of approximately 30 to 40 percent and may include automotive and air travel.
