Registered Behavior Technician- Pathway Program

Salary: $20- $27

Maxim Healthcare Services (Las Vegas) is hiring for a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children with Autism.

A Brief Summary of the Position:

Our RBTs primarily work one-on-one with children in their homes and in community settings conducting ABA therapy under the supervision of the BCBA. You will be guaranteed at least 15 hours per week with sessions ranging from 2-6 hours. Working up to a full-time schedule is absolutely possible in a relatively short amount of time. Schedules are Monday through Friday, days and afternoon shifts only. No nights, required weekends, and all major holidays off. Benefits are available to both full-time and part-time employees. Supervision hours provided by the BCBA are possible for those who are eligible.

Paid training and all fees associated with becoming licensed and registered in the State of Nevada will either be paid for or reimbursed after complete first 40 billable hours.

Responsibilities:Follows the instructions of the BCBA/program supervisorProvides behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clientsProvides behavior support servicesProvides crisis interventionImplements behavior plansDocuments session per policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned/necessaryQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent requiredCompleted a minimum of 12 semester hours (or equivalent) of college coursework and currently be enrolled in course of study leading to an associate's or bachelor's degree (psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, human development or related fields); or have completed a minimum of 48 semester hours (or equivalent) of college coursework.Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferredCurrent CPR certificationCurrent PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirementAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be requiredComputer proficiency requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageTo expedite the interview process please complete our pre-employment screening questionnaire by clicking here and a recruiter will reach out directly to you.
