Silver Screen Dental, a state-of-the-art, one-doctor practice in Austin, TX, is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. 


Our team strives to give each patient the quality care they deserve daily. We believe everyone deserves a healthy smile and will work hard to ensure your dental health is our number one priority. This is a four-day-per-week position, Monday through Thursday, with full benefits, a supportive team environment, and growth and advancement opportunities. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Welcome patients into the office - make them feel at ease.Prepare patients for treatment and/or exams.Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials neededSterilize instruments according to regulationsAssist the dentist through 4-handed dentistryUndertake lab tasks as instructedProvide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructionsKeep the operatories clean and well-stockedSchedule appointmentsMaintain accurate patient records and assist with payment proceduresAssist with ordering dental supplies and keeping track of dental supply inventoryAssist front office team members with administrative duties as needed

Requirements Active Registered Dental Assistant License for the state of TexasCPR CertificationPreferred candidates will have 2 years of experienceRadiology CertificationNitrous Certified, is preferred but not requiredKnowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methodsUnderstanding of health & safety regulationsAbility to perform regulated surgical and nonsurgical tasksStrong computer skills - Denticon experience is a plus!Willingness to help in the front officeExcellent communication skillsAttention to detailWell-organized and reliableGraduation from an accredited Dental Assisting schoolExperience with Sleep Apnea, Invisalign, implants, root canals, and oral surgery would be a plus!  Salary Description $18-$21 per hour
