As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our amazing, drama-free team. Schedule (days/hours) M-F 8am-5pm 1 Saturday a month8am to 2pm Responsibilities Patient Care: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed. Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring safety. Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital images, while following proper safety and positioning protocols. Provide post-operative care instructions and care to patients following treatment. Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Set up and clean treatment rooms before and after patient care. Assist the dentist with restorative, surgical, and other specialty procedures such as fillings, extractions, or crown placements. Maintain and manage dental materials (e.g., filling materials, impression materials). Take impressions for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental appliances as needed. Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments as permitted by the state.
