Registered Dietician
Job Description The Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for Medical Nutrition Therapy services provided to referred Dena'ina Wellness Center (DWC) people. The RD is responsible for nutrition consultations provided for Tribal programs. The RD will facilitate close collaboration between health promotion and disease prevention wellness programing. Skills and Requirements · Bachelor's degree with coursework approved by American Dietetic Association's (ADA) Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education · 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietician · Licensed Dietitian (LD) by the State of Alaska · Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration · Certified Food Protection Manager, or obtained within six (6) months of hire CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within three months of hire · Grant project coordination, budgeting and reporting experience.
