With the support of more than 30,000 team members, we promote a forward-thinking philosophy that’s built on a foundation of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility and clinical excellence. *****Possible Sign on Bonus at the time of an offer***** **Summary:** + Responsible for providing optimal medical nutrition therapy to patients preparing for or post bariatric surgery through one-on-one sessions and group classes. + Facilitates and coordinates bariatric patient support groups and serves as a social media moderator for the BayCare Bariatric Facebook Group. + Assists center in maintaining compliance with national and insurance specific bariatric quality designations. + Performs bariatric in-services to team members and physicians. + Represents bariatric program in media requests and community outreach efforts. + Assist in securing patient testimonials. + Ability to build positive relationships with patients and bariatric multi-disciplinary team including nurses, psychologists, pharmacists, surgeons, admin staff, and facility bariatric patient care areas. + Position may require travel to other sites as needed. + Participates in patient education/clinical projects and MBS Committee meetings. + Other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications:** **Required Education:** Bachelors Degree in Food and Nutrition; **Preferred Education:** Masters Degree in Food and Nutrition; OR Related Field. Required Licensure includes Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida. **Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23.
