Job Description:

Role Overview:

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Dietitian passionate about providing diabetes and nutrition education. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives by guiding them through dietary management and lifestyle adjustments.

Responsibilities:

Educate and Support: Deliver personalized education to patients and their families on managing diabetes through nutrition.Evaluate and Modify: Assess patients' readiness to incorporate nutritional advice into their lifestyles and adjust plans for better outcomes.Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional therapy into patient care.Community Engagement: Develop and lead educational programs for both staff and the broader community.

Requirements:

Must be licensed as a Dietitian in Maine.Registration as a Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required within 6 months of start.Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDE) by the National Certification Board For Diabetes Educators (NCBDE).
