EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
What You'll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related field meeting the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements. Completion of an AND-approved four-year Baccalaureate degree program and an AND-accredited advanced training program is required. Master's degree or Advanced Practice Certification is a plus!
+ A strong foundation in chemistry, physiology, caloric and nutrient values, and the physical properties of food, along with a solid understanding of medical nutrition therapy.
+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to use and understand medical terminology.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong computer skills.
+ A passion for nutrition and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Certification/Licensure:
+ Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Recent graduates awaiting their exam are encouraged to apply!
