Registered Echo Sonographer – Heart & Vascular Specialists Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled Registered Echo Sonographer

 

Work location:  TH Heart Vascular #18785 2505 Scripture St, Denton TX 75201

Work hours:  Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday, 8:00am - 2:00pm

Travel:  25% to other clinics in Flower Mound (mileage reimbursement provided)

Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) Associates Degree Related field (preferred) ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers or RDCS Upon Hire (required) OR RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer Upon Hire (required) BLS Certification Upon Hire (strongly preferred) Experience conducting Echo, Contrast Echo, Stress Echocardiogram (SE), and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram (DSE)   A successful Registered Echo Sonographer will possess an excellent working knowledge of cardiac anatomy/pathology, the cardiac patient, and treatment of cardiac diseases excellent communication skills good computer skills possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism   What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Registered Echo Sonographer Process Will produce two-dimensional ultrasound images and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures, using ultrasound equipment, for use by physician in diagnosis of heart disease and study of heart. Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.  Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.  Explains procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and reduce anxieties of patient. Enters patient information into computer database to record information on PACS system.  Reviews test results with interpreting physician.  Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.  Performs other duties as assigned.   Additional perks of being a Texas Health Registered Echo Sonographer Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program, as well as several other benefits.
