Job Summary Position exists to provide support to the EEG Lab in conjunction with the Medical Director and with the Department Director. Primary responsibility is to perform technically, and clinically accurate EEG tests as ordered by the Physicians in the clinical Neuro-diagnostic lab, all ICU settings and patient floors. Other duties assigned by the Department Director. Report directly to the Department Director and to the Medical Director. Two years' experience within the last 3 years in electroencephalographic/Polysomnographic testing or Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program is preferred. Completion of 10 SLEEP/EEG related CEU's within 1 year of hire and every year after is required. #STC Qualifications EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role. High School Diploma - OR - GED EXPERIENCE Relevant Hospital/Pediatric Experience CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS BLS Certification Graduate of an accredited EEG, PSG or RT Technology Program (R.EEG T, RPSGT or RST or RRT) Overview Tower Health, a regional healthcare system, serves communities across multiple counties in Pennsylvania.
