Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
This position is offered on a per-need (PRN) basis, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance. As a PRN employee, you will work on an ad-hoc basis, as needed to support the organization's operational requirements. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a part-time or flexible work arrangement.
Qualifications:
+ Experience in a practice setting preferred
+ CPR certification preferred
+ Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory values
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
+ Attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
+ Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
+ Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
+ Record medical history and vital signs
+ Administer medications and perform injections
+ Perform laboratory tests and phlebotomy
+ Maintain medical records and charts
+ Assist with office administrative tasks

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
