Join our dedicated team at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital as a Registered Medical Technologist. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests, confirming the accuracy of results, and reporting findings to physicians. You'll work in various areas of the lab, including Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis. This position requires operating and maintaining advanced lab equipment, utilizing the laboratory computer system, and adhering to strict protocols. You'll work under the supervision of a general supervisor but will perform your duties independently. Your contributions will be crucial in diagnosing and treating patients, making a significant impact on their health and well-being.

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for performing a full range of laboratory tests, confirming the accuracy of test results, and reporting findings to physicians. It covers major laboratory areas, including Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis. The role involves operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, using the laboratory computer system, and adhering to established policies and procedures. While working under the supervision of a general supervisor, direct supervision is not required for specimen processing, test performance, or result reporting.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field, or equivalent clinical experience and MLT education American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification MT Clinical Training 1-2 years of clinical experience in a related field
