Work Hours Full time, Nights 80 hours bi-weekly Weekend and Holiday rotation Job Overview

This position is responsible for performing a full range of laboratory tests, confirming the accuracy of test results, and reporting laboratory findings to doctors, pathologists, or other physicians. This position may work in various areas of the laboratory, including Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis. The role involves operating and maintaining a variety of laboratory instruments, utilizing the laboratory computer system in the performance of duties, and maintaining strict adherence to established policies and procedures. The position operates under the supervision of a general supervisor but works independently. Direct supervision is not required for specimen processing, test performance, or result reporting.
