Logan Health Neuroscience & Spine Neurology is seeking a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG Tech) to join our team in Kalispell, Montana. This role plays a key part in assisting physicians with diagnosing neurological conditions by conducting advanced neurodiagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform EEG and Neurodiagnostic Testing: Conducts non-invasive neurological tests to aid in diagnosing conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, brain tumors, and sleep disorders.

Patient Care & Preparation: Explains procedures to patients, ensures proper electrode placement, and operates monitoring equipment.

Data Management: Enters physician-approved orders into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and prepares reports for physician review.

Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoots, maintains, and ensures proper functionality of EEG equipment.

Collaboration & Communication: Works closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Process Improvement: Engages in quality improvement initiatives and follows department protocols to enhance patient outcomes.

Basic Qualifications (Required):

Experience: 1+ years of experience and/or training in EEG testing and procedures under physician supervision.

Certification: R.EEG.T (Registered Encephalographic Technologist) credential through ABRET (Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation) or an equivalent certification.

Technical Skills: Ability to accurately maintain records, interpret and record neurodiagnostic data.

Team-Oriented: Strong commitment to working in a collaborative healthcare environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and use other healthcare software, including EMR systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare Experience: 1+ years of experience in a healthcare facility.

CPR Certification: Current RQI Provider CPR certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).

Familiarity with EMR: Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for patient documentation.

Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills.
