Summary

RN responsible for supervision of hospital stress testing modalities of standard stress, stress echos, dobutamine stress echos, and the exercise portion of nuclear medicine stress testing. 16 hours per week, 32 hours per 2-week pay period. Typically scheduled 2 shifts per week. No weekends/holidays.

Practices professional nursing at an excellent level within the Goshen nursing model of care keeping a primary focus on the patient/family using the nursing process, culturally appropriate interventions, and holistic principles with attention to continuity of care and patient advocacy, while maintaining a safe environment. Is a leader in professional nursing both in direct care and in colleague relationships using ethical principles, collaboration, peer review, evidence-based practice, and teaching & learning principles.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education: Registered nurse with a valid Indiana State RN license.

Colleagues hired with an associate degree must enter a BSN program within 12 months of hire and earn their BSN from a NLN or CCNE accredited program within 5 years of beginning their BSN degree.

Effective February 2021, Colleagues hired with an associate degree and 10 or more years of nursing experience may be exempt from entering into a BSN program. 

                                      Preferred Education: Specific to unit of practice: Critical Care - Critical Care Course & basic dysrhythmia Course. OR and CVL- Basic Dysrhythmia Course. Minimum Experience: CVL: One year Med/Surg experience or successful completion of Patient Care Externship in CVL Preferred Experience: One to two years experience related to unit of hire. Certifications Required: Healthcare Provider CPR certification. CPRS – ACLS within 6 months of hire. CVL- ACLS within six months of hire Certifications Preferred: Specific to unit of practice: Critical Care – CCRN. CVL- RCIS
