The OR RN is responsible for coordinating care delivery within the OR/procedural setting.  Must demonstrate strong communication skills, work well in a multi-disciplinary setting and be a strong patient advocate. 

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Maintains accurate and complete procedural documentation.
2. Responds to the needs of the operative care team including but not limited to, gathering of resources, supplies, equipment, and medications.
3. Maintains sterile vigilance and supports all team members in this endeavor. 
4. Monitors and reports any identified concerns to the appropriate team members.
5. Assists with the flow of the OR to optimize efficiency.
6. Collaborates with all members of the Surgical Services care team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care, to achieve best patient outcomes. 
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
