Job Posting Title: Registered Nurse, Pre-op /PACU PRN (Dallas) Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: PRN as needed Monday-Friday Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities + Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care provided for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, and adolescents in a surgical services environment + Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, for a designated time frame, and provides quality care to these patients in a surgical services environment + Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and surgical services environment Required Skills/Abilities + Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing + Hold current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or is eligible for reciprocity and holds a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing + 1 or more years of experience as an RN + RN Circulator experience required + Current BLS certification required + Must obtain PALS certification within 1 year of employment + Demonstrate advanced and mature critical thinking and assessment skills At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
