Summary
This role offers the opportunity to work in Med/Surg and receive cross-training for the Emergency Room, Outpatient Infusion, and Same-Day Surgery. The RN delivers patient care within the hospital setting under the supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP). Supports direct care staff and facilitates efficient patient flow. Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients, maintaining emergency equipment and other resources necessary for providing safe, high-quality care.Schedule

Associate or higher RN degree in Nursing from accredited school of nursing required. RN experience preferred but not required. New Graduates welcome to apply! RN License from the State of Minnesota required. BLS required within 6 months of hire. ACLS required within 1 year of hire. TNCC/CALS required within 1 year of hire or first opportunity when trained to charge. Ability to read and communicate in English. Good verbal and written communication skills. Maintain confidentiality when dealing with all internal and external customers. Perform duties in a manner consistent with safety principles and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards associated with the position and organization. Must be flexible to change and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Department
The CentraCare Benson Hospital is a 21-bed critical access hospital with an attached rural health clinic. A $5.3 million clinic and hospital addition/renovation project was completed in the fall of 2013. Our group of family physicians, nurse practitioners and visiting specialists work together to provide a wide range of medical services for Benson and the surrounding area.
