Registered Nurse | Urgent Care

CentraCare’s Willmar Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic with physicians and advanced practice providers in more than 40 specialty areas. This position is working in the Urgent Care Clinic to care for patients with a variety of needs.

Summary

Provides support to direct care staff.  Facilitates patient flow.  Provides direct care to patients under direction of provider within scope of practice.  Maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care. Supports provider practice by utilizing the nursing process and R.N. skills.  Provides management of pharmacy refill program for patients.

Schedule

Full-time position - Working 60 hours every two weeks | Onsite Mon-Fri daytime shifts between the hours of 7:15AM and 8:00PM (12-hour shifts) and also includes every third weekend from 8:45AM to 4:30PM.

Pay and Benefits

Qualifications 

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Registered Nurse (RN) current license in the state of Minnesota required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required with exception: inability to complete certification process related to a health condition. Employee must complete education portion of the BLS within 6 months of hire. Up to date AED/CPR training required. Ability to work well with team members and act as a leader for the nursing department clinical staff.  Good communication, computer, documentation, and time management skills.  Nursing RN assessment skills as well as procedural skills within scope of practice.

Infectious Diseases: This clinic has infectious disease physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in the hospital and in the clinic. Our specialist help to identify and treat a variety of general infectious diseases and disease-related issues.
