You will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiac conditions. Key Responsibilities: + Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiovascular diagnoses and conditions. + Conduct assessments and monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status. + Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. + Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by the physician. + Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications. + Assist with diagnostic procedures, including stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizations. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and enhance quality of care. + Participate in continuous education and professional development. Qualifications: + Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. + Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiology nursing or related areas. + BLS and ACLS certification required. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
