Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiology

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (NO WEEKENDS)

Job Description:

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Cardiology team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in cardiology nursing practices and demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional patient care. You will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiovascular diagnoses and conditions.Conduct assessments and monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status.Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by the physician.Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.Assist with diagnostic procedures, including stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and enhance quality of care.Participate in continuous education and professional development.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New YorkBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiology nursing or related areas.BLS and ACLS certification required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to patient-centered care and safety.Benefits:Competitive salary and shift differentials.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with employer match.Generous paid time off and holiday pay.Ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities.Supportive work environment with opportunities for career advancement.

Monday - Friday 8:30/4:30 or 9-5 - no weekends
