Job Duties:

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual care in a patient care area;

Provide individualized patient care based upon appropriate and developmental needs;

Collaborate with physicians, patient/families, and members of the health care team in delivering a plan of care;

Utilize positive communication skills;

Evaluate and update patients' response to the plan of care;

Initiate, manage, and participate in discharge planning and patient/family teaching;

Work on various nursing units;

Facilitate physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual care of the patients;

Contribute to cost effective patient care by monitoring use of time, equipment, and supplies.

Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:           

U.S. state nursing license or be eligible to obtain state nursing license.
