JOB SUMMARY: CDCR is a 20-bed unit that provides preprocedural and recovery care to patients scheduled for Cath lab procedures such as cardiac catheterization, PTCA, ablative therapy, EP studies, elective cardioversion, pacemaker, AICD insertions and vascular procedures. Demonstrates clinical knowledge in the assessment, prep/recovery of patients undergoing cardiac and peripheral catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Administering and caring for patients receiving moderate sedation for cardiovascular testing procedures such as transesophageal echocardiography, cardioversion, tilt table testing, etc. Performs high quality clinical care for all cardiovascular patients. 

No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call!! 

REQUIREMENTS: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Bachelor's of Nursing required from CCNE accredited schools. At least 2 - 3 years of adult Critical Care RN experience required. Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association BLS & ACLS Certifications, Specialty certification preferred.
