Astria Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team at Astria Toppenish Hospital! This is a NOC position with 12 hour shifts.

What you get to do every day....
As the Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centered mental health care to individuals with acute psychiatric conditions. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive holistic and safe care in a structured and supportive environment. You will:
Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute psychiatric conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, discharge planning and evaluation of care,Monitor patient status and provide updates to the treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals,Providing patient and family education to support recovery and engagement in the care process,Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, interventions, and clinical updates in electronic medical records (EMR),Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team (IDT) to develop individualized care plans tailored to patients' mental, physical, and emotional needs,Ensuring accurate and efficient execution of physicians' orders,Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and educate patients on medication management, Lead or assist in group therapy, psychoeducation sessions, and activities aimed at improving patients' coping skills and emotional regulation Effectively managing patient pain as necessary,Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies to maintain patient and staff safetyPerforms other duties as assignedCollaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
What you bring to the role:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Current RN Washington State license.Current Basic Life Support certificationOral and written fluency in the English language.
Preferred Qualifications and Education.
Two years experience in behavior health patient care
