Its team of experts works to create a treatment plan to meet each patient's specific needs. The center's outpatient infusion center offers chemotherapy and supportive services, including 18 private rooms for treatment sessions six hours or longer.Summary of Essential Duties:Deliver care to patients with oncology and hematology diagnosesPerform safe administration of chemotherapyTransfusion of blood productsEngage in symptom managementProvide VAD care and peripheral IV insertionDuties include care of patients on Phase I clinical trials
QualificationsQualifications:Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program requiredBSN preferredLicense/Certification:Current, unrestricted California RN license requiredONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card required (or willing to obtain within 30 days from start date)BLS from the American Heart Association requiredExperience:A minimum of 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience requiredCedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
