Job Summary Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Reading Hospital Nursing Video: RH Nurses #READ Qualifications Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Certification and Licensure PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License Overview N2W Heart Failure & Cardiac Unit - This 31-bed unit specializes in Heart Failure, peri-interventional cardiology care, medical telemetry. The energetic and dynamic nursing team provides high quality, patient centered care for those who do not require critical care nursing, but who have complex cardiovascular conditions. These patients commonly have the diagnoses of CHF, ACS, AMI, dysrhythmia, or syncope in addition to other concomitant medical diagnoses, including caring for patients on non-titratable cardiac drips. This unit engages in unit level shared governance committee and interdisciplinary unit-based clinical leadership team. Why Reading Hospital?
