What you will do:
Utilizing a strong telemetry background, this nursing position provides hands-on patient care in an ambulatory environment performing cardiac device interrogations. This challenging role is ideal for a tech-savvy nurse who will perform pacemaker/defibrillator analysis and, in collaboration with physician partners, program devices to correct values and optimal settings. Excellent communication skills are a plus as the ideal candidate will provide patient education and help teach cardiology fellows, MRI associates and anesthesia staff about the nuances of cardiac devices. What you will bring:
Minimum required: Associate's degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required: 2-3 years Telemetry Experience
Knowledge of 12-lead EKG
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois
Current CPR certification
Cardiac device interrogation/programming experience
Salary Range: $29.78 - $48.84 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
