MUST have current RN License for the state of Indiana and current BLS

Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; minimum of 1 year in long term skilled care

Areas of Responsibility:

· Under supervision of Lead Charge Nurse, provide all aspects of basic personal care, medication administration, treatment procedures, as well as preventive, restorative and therapeutic techniques.

· Demonstrate knowledge of medical asepsis and sterile technique.

· Communicate effectively with aging and ill residents with variety of chronic illnesses, emotional disorders, or cognitive deficits.

· Adapt to changing priorities and needs, communicate effectively with visitors, supervisors, and other team members, and maintain confidentiality of resident condition and personal affairs.
