Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00

Shift: 7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays-On Call Requirement

Primary Patient Population:

Obstetric Patient (16 weeks gestation through 2 weeks postpartum)

Primary skills utilized/learned:

Fetal MonitoringAssessing fetal oxygenationProviding interventions to improve fetal oxygenationTitrating IV inducing medicationsMonitoring epidural patientsPatient coaching during deliveryAssessing safety/stability post-deliveryProviding support during loss

Personnel RN will work with:

Maternity Service Reps, Nurse Interns, NICU RNs, NICU Providers, OB Providers, Anesthesia team

Number of beds on unit:

10 birthing rooms3 ORs/3 Pre-OP, PACU10 total beds- High Risk/Antepartum6 Outpatient Triage beds

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of OhioCurrent AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
