Overview New Graduate Emergency Department Residency Program Application Deadline: March 15th, 2025 This 1-year program is an exciting opportunity meant for May 2025 BSN graduates looking to launch their career in a fast-paced, stimulating emergency department. The program will include several modes of learning meant to prepare you to work in our Level I ACS Trauma Center for Adults and Level II Pediatrics Center. The program includes: 52-week, 12.5-hour shift. The curriculum consists of classroom didactics, skill labs, simulation labs, a two-week online critical care course, and clinical hours with the Clinical Nursing Educators and preceptors. After the first 16 weeks of the program, the nursing residents are transitioned to a full-time clinical setting with their preceptors, which includes a rotation in the pediatric ED, and a two-week critical care rotation with the Emergency Department critical care nurse. Requirements for Prospective Candidates: May 2025 Graduates from accredited BSN programs. Preferred overall GPA 3.3; Nursing GPA 3.5. You will be asked to provide a copy of your college transcript. Application submission MUST include a Resume BLS certification from the American Heart Association before the start date. Interview with ED Leadership, ED Staff and Talent Acquisition Residency Details: Start Date: Sept 2025; contingent on passing NCLEX. Accredited with Distinction as a Practice Transition Program By the American Nurses Credentialing Center Salary Range USD $52.14 - USD $52.14 /Hr. This serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
