Astria Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Family Birthing Center to join our team! This is a day shift position. This position has a sign on bonus!

As the Registered Nurse - Family Birthing Center, this role utilizes the nursing process in the management and care of patients (mother and newborn), during the final stages of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. The RN provides individualized care to the patient, family and caregivers and is competent and knowledgeable to provide care to the patient population served. You will:
Provides information, guidance, and hands-on clinical care to pregnant women and their newborns. Uses appropriate equipment to monitor vital signs, fetal heart rate, and uterine activity during labor and delivery. Assists providers in delivering newborns. Administers medications related to labor, delivery, and the care of newborns. Provides guidance to new mothers on all aspects of recovery and newborn care. Performs tests necessary in the care of the newborn. Performs other duties as assigned,Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries,Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
Required Qualifications and Education.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Current RN Washington State License At least 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery and/or Postpartum Care. Current BLS, ALS, and NRP certification. Fetal Monitoring and STABLE certifications required within 6 months of hire. Oral and written fluency in the English language.
