Registered Nurse - Field Assessor - LTS
Summary As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA) you would be completing Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands-off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and evaluate the claimant’s functional level of independence. The assessment process also involves completing a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant’s ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and be able to use a point of care web application/system on a laptop or tablet, in real time for documentation purposes. Must demonstrate good clinical reasoning and judgement as it relates to assessing ADL performance, cognition and home safety. Must be comfortable with the use point of care technology when completing assessments. Must be comfortable with the use point of care technology when completing assessments. Current, unencumbered RN licensure in state of practice. Minimum of 2 years of home health experience or 2 years nursing experience in an equivalent area of practice serving the older adult population. Has, or be willing to obtain, a professional liability insurance policy Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
