Monday - Friday 8am-4:30 pm; 2 holidays a year. Weekend rotation based on how many nurses are employed. On call only Saturday and Sunday 8am-4:30 pm on your scheduled weekend. No weekday or weekend evening call.
JOB SUMMARY: To provide individualized nursing care at the place of residence/home of clients with acute, chronic and complex conditions.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Current state Registered Nurse License or permit from State Board of Nursing required.
Completion of ADN required, BSN preferred.
Experience: Must have demonstrated competency in an acute patient care setting for at least one year in medical, surgical or intensive care setting. Home Health or community health experience preferred. Special Skills and Competencies: Current motor vehicle driving license, motor vehicle insurance and available to travel to client's residences required. Computer and typing skills required.
Must provide proof of Basic Life Support prior to employment or within 30 days or hire and maintain current status. Must provide proof of Mandatory Reporting for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training prior to employment or within 6 months of hire and maintain current status per State of Iowa guidelines.
