Job Summary
The Registered Nurse III, under general supervision, provides patient care, evaluations, and treatment. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the clinic, which includes inventory and requisition of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care, patient evaluations, and treatment in accordance with Professional Nursing Standards.
Provides preventative education programs to students, such as residence life programs and student organization programs.
Uses the health care team approach to provide triage of patients, physical assessments, and treatments, including the administration of medication and therapy as directed.
Operates and maintains the clinic, which includes maintaining inventory and requisition of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
Maintains and operates the autoclave for sterilization of instruments/supplies.
Maintains and monitors patient records, assesses health care needs, and provides patient education.

Additional Responsibilities
Develop educational programming focused on health promotion initiatives for students.
Provide presentations to students; may be one to one or for a group audience.
Assist with outreach activities held on campus.
Minimum Requirements
Education – Associate degree in Nursing.
Experience – Four years of previous experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Knowledge of Excel and Power Point
Experience in community health or public health
Experience with emergency preparedness including mass vaccination
Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of:
Word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Standard nursing procedures and techniques.
Ability to:
Multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Use and manage an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Licensing / Professional Certification – Licensed RN and CPR certified.
Physical Requirements – General medical office environment.

Salary: $63,981.00/salary
