Associate seeks guidance from Clinical Manager when needed. Demonstrates ability to be depended upon as scheduled for work, meetings, and/or in-services as requested. Mount St. Mary's Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities: EDUCATION + Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, college or university + Licensure and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York required + BSN preferred + BLS certification preferred. Certification must be obtained within three (3) months from date of hire or transfer into position + PICC Certification preferred, PICC line certification within 6 months of hire + Chemotherapy certification preferred. EXPERIENCE + Minimum one (1) year relevant experience required + One (1) year experience performing veni-puncture, infusion therapy with central catheters and PICC lines preferred + Critical care experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Computer skills required, i.e., software appropriate to position, word, excel + Ability to prioritize & multi task + Strong assessment skills required REQNUMBER: 33544
