Registered Nurse Mother Baby Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $44.08 - $62.12 an hour - Full Time, Nights. 36 hours a week. **Range includes night differential. +$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.
Boulder Community health is seeking a RN Mother Baby who p articipates in the accomplishment of Boulder Community Health’s and the Family Birth Center’s mission, vision and goals by utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and provide direct patient care. Is accountable for coordinating the resources needed by patients and families, promotes patient satisfaction and facilitates the achievement of quality clinical and cost outcomes.

Qualifications •Colorado RN license in good standing. •BLS certification required by end of conditional period. •NRP for Family Birth Center required by end of conditional period. •ACLS certification within 6 months of hire for L&D Preferred one-year RN clinical nursing experience in perinatal, emergency department, or ICU. Responsibilities •The RN ensures completion of the interventions and appropriate patient education by demonstrating clinical knowledge for standard therapies as outlined in care guidelines for their areas of training and cross training. •Labor/Delivery/Recovery and high risk antepartum, intrapartum patients and postpartum patients. •Mother-Baby, low risk antepartum, postpartum, and well newborns. •Transitional care of the newborn. •Care of the high risk newborn in Special Care Nursery. •The RN ensures that the patient and family members are involved in decision-making. •The RN will delegate tasks/functions to cocmpetent care givers. •May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer.
