Job Posting: Registered Nurse (Multiple Units) Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Olathe, KS Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: $33-$40 (Mid Point Pay) Shift/Weekend/On-call Differentials: + Evening (3:00 PM - 10:30 PM): $3.50 + Night (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM): $5.00 + Weekend (3:00 PM Friday - 6:59 AM Monday): $2.25 Telemetry Unit Description: + Monitor and interpret patient data related to heart, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and rhythm. + Provide professional nursing care through assessment, accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. + Coordinate care delivery and education through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team providers. + Patient Population: Acute cardiac patients, post-invasive cardiac procedures, chest pain, acute illnesses (e.g., ETOH withdrawal, COVID , sepsis, Tikosyn and Sotalol initiation and titration). + Beds per Unit: 4 North (28 beds), 4 South (18 beds), 4 East (13 beds). + Tech/Equipment: GE heart monitors, Masimo vital sign machines, Stryker beds. Medical/Surgical Unit Description: + Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on immediate conditions or needs. + Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician. + Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients’ families. + Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients. + Patient Population: Medical Surgical Adult and Pediatrics. + Average Census and Nurse to Patient Ratio: 2. + Tech/Equipment: Alaris Infusion Pumps, Alaris PCAs, Stryker Beds, Umano Beds, GE Wireless Telemetry, Masimo Roots with Patient Safety Net. Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Description: + Provide close monitoring and frequent assessment for patients not unstable enough for ICU care. + Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, detecting changes for timely intervention. + Patient Population: Post-op day one Open Hearts, Vascular surgeries, titratable drips (excluding pressor), ICU step-down level of care, DKA I, Bipap, Opti Flow, COVID -19 , Neurological/Post-TPA patient (stroke), Dialysis, surgical spine patients, TAVR, Fempop, Cardiovascular. + Beds per Unit: 15. + Tech/Equipment: Bipap, Cpap, Opti Flow, O2, Hoyer lift, sit to stand lift, Nihon Khoden Central monitoring-telemetry, ECG machines, Accu-Chek, IV pumps. Skills & Qualifications + Education: BSN preferred (ADN accepted with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years). + Experience: 1 Year of RN Hospital experience. + Licenses/Certifications: KS RN License, ACLS & BLS required, TR band experience required.
