+ DESCRIPTION OF POSITION + The Staff Nurse under the supervision of the Charge Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients assigned to him/her, and to direct others in patient care. + QUALIFICATIONS + Professional/Educational + Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. + Current Illinois Registered Professional Nursing license with biennial renewal. + Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). + DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. + Personal + Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. + Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability. + Possesses the ability to work under pressure. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
