The Opioid Treatment Program, Erie Blvd is an outpatient program for opiate dependent clients, providing medication therapy, medical and bio-psychological assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, Chemical Dependency education and education on related topics, activities of daily living therapy, medical follow up and continued care planning.
A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
Graduate of an accredited associate degree*Must complete NCLEX within 120 days
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree*Bachelor’s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support (BLS)Preferred:
Certification in a specialty area. Addiction or Mental Health education and/or training.
