This position is 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm in the Outpatient Clinics, Schools, Specialized Transition Program, PACT and Early Learning Center.

This includes medication and allergy reconciliation, review of health history changes, assessment of education needs, cultural/spiritual needs, and food needs, assisting the family or patient with signing up for MyChart if needed, and suicide screening of the appropriate patients per policy. This can also include gathering relevant information and questions for the care team before they begin the visit.· Relay messages and questions the family might have to the clinical nurse coordinator for that patient or directly to the MDs prior to them starting the visit (if possible)· Assist with maintaining the clinic environment by cleaning exam rooms and stocking along with the NTs, and maintaining the safety of the clinic by ensuring that the hallways are clear, equipment is properly stored, cleaned, and maintained, and all safety procedures are followed.· Maintaining a high quality of patient care and service by being visible and available to assist with questions or patient-care related tasks, including assisting with patient transfers to and from the exam tables, providing resources to keep the patients comfortable and safe, and assisting the doctors and clinical nurse coordinators with coordinating patient care, including providing outside resource information, assisting with the discharge process as applicable, and resolving any concerns or complaints before the end of the visit.· Maintaining all applicable licenses and certifications and participating in continuing education and committees as available to further expand nursing knowledge· Be open, understanding, patient, and kind to every person who enters the clinic, regardless of age, sex, race, gender, religion, medical conditions, etc. QualificationsEducation: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN or enrolled in a BSN program to be completed within 2 ½ years of hiring date.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required and minimum of 1 year pediatric experience preferred.
License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license from Maryland or a compact state.
Certification: Current CPR certification that included hands on skills
